Rehab for Raging Rovers is the first class in the South Bay Area specifically designed to rehabilitate dogs who are aggressive to other dogs.
Eliminating dog-to-dog aggression
Our goal isn't to suppress or avoid your dog's aggressive behavior, it's to extinguish it through positive reinforcement, allowing you and your dog to enjoy a happy and safe time outside.
Who can attend?
Only animals that have participated in private training with either instructor are eligible to enroll. This class is designed to augment a regimen of private, one-on-one training and consultation.
You’ll be a student too
Your dog won’t be the only one learning in this class. The educational process you began during your private lessons will continue here. You’ll apply and fine-tune what you’ve learned to do with your dog in specific real-life situations.
Practice makes perfect
You and your dog have already learned a lot during your private lessons. Like any other new skill, you now need practice. Rehab for Raging Rovers gives you a safe, convenient place to do just that. We’ll set up deliberate scenarios that reflect the unexpected real-life situations that have caused your dog trouble in the past. You’ll be prepared for these events instead of being taken by surprise.
Safety first
Safety is a top priority for you and for your dog. We keep classes small — six owner/dog teams, maximum — and we always have two behaviorists on hand to manage the class. And unlike our usual class environments, we ask that no additional dogs or children attend.
39 years of combined experience
Rehab for Raging Rovers is the product of a partnership between two of the Bay Area's premier dog trainers. Lu Shoberg of Baymont Dog Training and Dawna Caldwell of Happy Tails to You Dog Training have worked with hundreds of dogs and are each experts in the field.
Conveniently Located in San Jose, CA
Rehab for Raging Rovers is held at Happy Tails to You Dog Training, conveniently located from both highways 17 and 85 in San Jose. Our center provides a safe, indoor environment to conduct the class. View a map and driving directions.
